        Verdict

        FASTIDIOUS is progressing nicely and followed a victory over this trip at Gowran in September with a fine effort on his debut on this surface a fortnight ago. Beaten a nose by Core Element that night, he may just have needed the run after a break and though 4lbs higher looks the one to be on. Greek Canyon ran well in fifth and can get competitive but Golden Shoe and Atticus Finch were well beaten and look held. The veteran Maundy Money has won seven times on Turf but never on the all-weather and like stablemate Suehail is returning from a break though the latter will soon be winning races. Dimitar has won twice over a mile recently and may find this on the short side.
