Verdict
SIR MAXIMILIAN (NAP) has been a regular visitor to Ireland this season, scoring at the Curragh and Tipperary, the latest a Listed event. He's subsequently finished runner-up in a Group 3 and ran well in the Abbaye at Longchamp so looks the one to be on as he makes his debut for Ian Williams. Russian Soul was just behind him in that Group 3 at the Curragh and will have found the ground a bit too testing when tackling 6f back there last time. He was conceding 5lb to Abstraction when they occupied the places behind the selection at Tipperary and is a few pounds better off with both. My Good Brother is perfectly capable of winning this at his best and showed himself in good heart with a comfortable victory over 6f here earlier this month. The remainder have plenty to find but Jim Bolger must have confidence in Aerialist to put him into Listed company after just two runs.
