It's very rare to see an unraced four-year-old at this time of the year so the fact that Jim Bolger has kept An Spailpin Fanach in training is a pointer. Aragorn Rouge is undoubtedly the form pick here and though he's been racing over much longer trips this is a very moderate affair and it will be a surprise if he's not involved. Gaiety Theatre made a fair debut over the C&D last month before appearing to find 1m3f too far a week later. She should be thereabouts as should Sli Na Fiarana, who will have come on for last month's debut. DIAMOND DAZE showed real promise earlier this year and though well beaten on her debut over the C&D she led for a long way and could just have enough pace to see her home.
