The front-running Victory Star was bought after making all for the Mark Johnston team in a Chelmsford seller and starts out for new connections in a moderate handicap. El C Wells scored over 1m4f here in February and again twelve days ago when she led in the straight and battled back when headed. She's up 4lb but should be thereabouts while Qaabil, a winner over a mile at Gowran in August when Shawaf was behind, found 6f much too short here last week. Clueless Hill has been staying on over further but THE LION STRIKES has shown potential in a light campaign and made a fair track debut here last week so gets a speculative vote.
