Half of the field are course and distance winners with Royal Scholar having gained his second victory here in January from 6lb lower. Well Suited is a four-times track winner and has been racing over unsuitable shorter trips while Capla Knight won over the trip in February and was going on at the finish over 7f last time. The latter had NO SHOW close behind in fourth in that penultimate run but Jimmy Mangan's charge has a good chance of losing his all-weather maiden tag at the revised weights. Harbanaker and Reverberation are running well enough to be considered in a wide-open finale.
