Verdict

Joseph O'Brien was handed a ban for excessive use of the whip when MASSABINI finished runner-up two weeks ago but can ride John Coleman's charge here pending an appeal. His mount was leading at tonight's trip on that occasion and is taken to gain compensation. La Oliva gained her first success when battling to victory over the track and trip a month ago and a 3lb rise is by no means excessive and though Circus Act is still a maiden he has some decent form over this trip to his credit and should be respected. Indian Arch wasn't far behind La Oliva last time and, as that was his first start since September, looks sure to go close. Daytime Dreamer has won just once in 25 starts on the all-weather but is now on a very lowly mark as a consequence.
