Waterloo Sunrise just held on over the track and trip last month so it was a surprise to see him over an extra quarter-mile two weeks later where he never got involved. It's a long time since Beat The Ballot won but he's been beaten by a couple of well handicapped horses recently and is on a fair mark. ANNER QUEEN has never won a race but came close behind Nedera last time and subsequent winner Rose Angel was behind so this looks a good opportunity to finally get off the mark. Like Tony Martin's filly, Athassel has also run 17 times without scoring but hasn't been beaten far on several occasions though a longer trip than this may bring out the best in him. Noverre Princess has gone 26 starts without winning and though a very good second here two weeks ago can hardly be supported with any confidence.
