Our Manekineko has a tremendous record around here though hasn't been in the best of form while Three Majors is another who goes well here and Kevin Manning is a positive booking. Darvie hasn't won yet but has run well here the last twice and can get into contention while Seeking Truth, whose only victory was on this track, has run well in two Ballinrobe claimers recently. Major Power has shown a bit of potential in maidens at the Curragh though looks to have enough weight for his handicap debut. YAMATO carried a big weight to victory over the course and distance around this time a year ago and hasn't run badly in tough handicaps on Turf since returning from a break so gets the vote in a tricky event.
