Verdict

Plenty of these arrive in good form including Tony The Gent, who caught Parkers Hill close home in a 7f claimer a fortnight ago while Spiorad Saoirse chased home San Adreas on the same card and has slipped to a fair mark. Bucky Larson wasn't far behind Parkers Hill last month and that was his first start since May so improvement is expected. Runner-up that day was Shawaf, who was showing his first sign of form but the vote goes to NORDIC PASSAGE, who had been running well over shorter before stepping up to this trip and winning with something in hand. He's up 7lb but is still expected to be in the firing-line. Masalai is a very consistent performer at this level though now 10lb higher than his last winning mark.
