Independent Expert didn't get going until too late at Gowran last month but stayed on and will have come on for the experience. MAEVE OF CONNAUGHT made a very encouraging start at Leopardstown in July in a race that has worked out well with the winner scoring again and the runner-up winning in Listed company. Johnny Murtagh's filly looks the one to beat on that form though Show Of Stars ran well enough at Killarney last month to be considered a threat. The remainder are difficult to fancy.
