Duff is better known as a 7f performer these days but scored over the C&D last month before a good run over the extra furlong. He's well enough handicapped to get competitive while Love Delta has been competing at a high level since his last success on Southwell's Fibresand a year ago. Solent Ridge is better over further and may not quite have the pace for this but Madeira Man landed a strong nursery on his final start of last year and looks well treated on his return from a long absence. GORDON LORD BRYON got off the mark on his seventh start when coming with a late run to catch Glor Na Mara over the C&D last month and Tom Hogan's charge looks one to follow from this type of mark.
