      Verdict

      Almanack, who has a Phoenix Stakes entry, made a very promising debut from a wide draw here when a close third to Tennessee Wildcat with Versilia Gal a head in front of him. Truly Madly was a neck behind Versilia Gal at Cork last week so there's nothing between them here. Bedecked was very green on her debut at Leopardstown on Sunday and will have come on for the experience but GALE FORCE TEN, who cost £280,000 as a yearling and is another with a Phoenix Stakes entry, has the pedigree to be a flyer and can get off to a winning start.
