The market frequently proves useful in these low-grade handicaps but TURN ON THE TEARS, an obvious form contender, makes more than enough appeal to receive the vote. The Durkan mare hasn't too many miles on the clock for one of her age and the overall level achieved in her last six starts - all at this venue - makes her a leading contender. She went well for Oisin Orr the last day and the combination is taken to prevail. Ger Lyons wastes little time in pitting Ragtime Red against his elders at this early stage of the season and recent efforts suggest that he'll go well in such a modest affair with first-time blinkers applied. Beat Of My Heart showed enough last term as a juvenile to be of interest too along with course and distance winner Poetic Choice, a sound third here last month.
