Jered Maddox, a five-times course winner, is 8lb higher than when scoring at Laytown but has been running well enough to be considered. Daamberdiplomat was well beaten on his only start here but has been running well on Turf in the summer while Musical Tribute won at Chelmsford in September and makes his debut for new connections. Secret Magician, a winner at the Curragh in August, makes his debut on the track while Tamazu's recent second came on the beach at Laytown. OSTRAKA made a winning debut at the Curragh in May and though not progressing as expected still has scope after just four runs and is taken to make a successful debut on the surface. The once useful Volatile Analyst is gradually dropping to a winnable mark.
