Michael Halford's horses continue in fine form and KAMPALA BEACH followed a course and distance victory with another very good run a fortnight ago so gets the vote. Pro Bono gained his only victory in 22 starts over this track and trip a year ago and was in the lead in the straight when run out of it close home over 1m4f last month. Evening Verse won by six lengths here in April and went up 15lb. She's gradually dropping in the weights but finished over three lengths behind Dark Street a fortnight ago and a 6lb pull doesn't look enough to reverse the form. Romann has won here twice after a break and Jonny Levins can get one ready at home while Contrapposto gained a surprise victory at Cheltenham last month and Colin Keane has been booked.
