Verdict
Miss Mediator became Tommy Carmody's first winner after a seven year absence from the training ranks when landing a fillies' maiden a month ago. She'll need to step up on that form here but should do so and looks certain to be in the firing line. Lord Kenmare probably went up a few pounds too many after his victory in January and has been struggling. Megan Carberry has shown herself to be excellent value for her claim and looks to have a real chance of steering Kalacan into the winners' enclosure after a fine run last month but though ARAGORN ICON was just behind on that occasion he had a nightmare run and, as he's since run well behind Matjar where he led until 1f out, he gets the vote to make amends and gain his first all-weather success.
