The assessor has taken a dim view of Mulgrave's easy victory last week, raising him 10lb. Runner-up Wychwood Whisper, who had won earlier in the month, has been raised just 2lb and as that was only his fifth start he should be capable of reversing the form. However, the one to take from the race is LYRA BELACQUA, who had shown potential on her opening run over 7f here and was staying on strongly in that latter event with Colin Keane on board. Royal Scholar went up 6lb for his course and distance victory in October but he's continued in top form so should get involved in the finish. Blankiedoodie loves this place and had been running well all summer before gaining his first track victory last month and still looks on a very lowly mark.
