War Hero has been gradually improving and it was no surprise when he landed a maiden over 6f here last month where he battled on gamely. Princess Yaiza showed some potential on Turf before making a successful debut over the course and distance last month where she ran on strongly to lead close home to see off the odds-on Elegant Drama. Piper Bomb has been consistent and gained her reward with a comfortable victory in a 6f nursery last week, though a 9lb rise looks harsh. Storm Has Broken gained a surprise victory over the track and trip in October but didn't appreciate dropping back to 6f next time and can do better. LUCKY RED (NAP) looked to be travelling easily but didn't quite get the run of the race when beaten narrowly over a mile by Paparazzi last week. The winner was receiving 7lb so it was a good effort from Jessica Harrington's charge and he can gain his first victory.
