Verdict

Ger Lyons won this last year with the three-year-old Achak so BANK ON BLACK can emulate him. He has experience of the surface having had his first two starts here last season and though disappointing at Tipperary last time his victory over Blue Dahlia there in June was a fine effort. Big Typhoon gained a surprise success over the C&D in May and just failed to complete a double at Down Royal two weeks later. He has been well beaten in two subsequent starts over 6f and this is his trip. Winning Impact followed a nice debut here when coming with a late run to catch Jumbo Steps on the line at Naas but both of those runs were over 6f and this may be too sharp. Good To Follow had half-a-length to spare over Sampers over the C&D last August and there is nothing between the pair here.
