Verdict

Dual bumper and hurdles winner Chateau Conti once looked a cracking prospect but has lost his way, failing to complete in three of four starts over fences. He has to concede a lot of weight to GEORGIAN BAY (NAP), who won two claimers at the turn of the year though both were over a mile. He's probably not as good over this trip but is so far clear on official ratings that he should have few problems winning with this weight. New Vocation went up 6lb for winning a minor handicap over the course and distance and wasn't able to repeat on a return visit while John Honeyman, who was in very good form around this time a year ago, has gone backwards and ran poorly over hurdles last month. Ishebayorgrey has won six times around here though this will be his first ever start beyond a m
