Verdict
The form figures of APPLETREEMAGIC don't look too inviting but she won over this C&D in April and has been running reasonably well over longer trips since. She's given the vote with the excellent Sam James taking off 5lb. Extra Steps is still a maiden but she's been going well on turf and produced some fine runs here as a juvenile. Sports Casual has had very little racing for his age and hasn't been seen since landing a C&D handicap in December. He's been raised 8lb for that but had been in very good form previously and should make a bold attempt to defy his long absence. Funatfuntasia has won just once in 19 starts on the surface but has been in reasonable form on turf and is a massive 16lb lower than when beginning this campaign in April.
