Verdict

SCOTT LANG almost pulled off a shock debut success over the course and distance last month, just failing by a short-head against Illusory. Melliferous, who was staying on into fourth, has since produced an excellent run over slightly shorter so the form looks strong. Battle Of Benburb also ran very well in that latter event and is probably better over that trip while Palace Rock was staying on over the same distance in December and looks the type to improve again. S'all Good Man has shown reasonable form but looks vulnerable after eight starts.
