In depth

Verdict

Not much to go on here so it wouldn't be a shock to see a big run from the newcomer Lakomet Of Saints, whose dam is from a top-class family. Captain Middleton was a 50/1 chance when a good fifth over 7f last month and should improve but the vote goes to DUNMAIN POWER. Joseph O'Brien's charge finished last on his debut at Naas but showed much-improved form when third in what looked a decent maiden here a few days later. His stable companion Volkova has been getting outpaced over shorter but this trip is likely to be more suitable and she's one to keep an eye on. Uncharted wouldn't have been suited by heavy ground at the Curragh but will have come on markedly for the experience.
