Deep Speed and Lean And Keen were separated by a short-head when they occupied the places behind Snow Scene over a longer trip last month when Palace Of Winds was 5l behind. The former was travelling best for much of the way and the shorter trip should suit. ELUSIVE ICE was just touched off over 7f on her debut last November and was having her first subsequent start when runner-up to Cottrell over 6f two weeks ago. She's by a sprinter but out of a winning miler so should just about stay this trip and can go one better.
