In depth

Verdict

This looks a slightly better than average maiden. First Class Ticket made a nice start behind the odds-on The Mouse Doctor here last month and can only get better while Zilbiyr attracted very strong support when a close third last month and the extra furlong should suit. Whiskey Zulu chased the winner all the way over this trip at Leopardstown in July and only went down narrowly so he should make further progress though MULLIGATAWNY made a big enough impression on the same track in October to get the nod. Jessica Harrington's charge was noted staying on strongly over that 7f and still holds an entry in the Irish 2000 Guineas. The Wave Rock's dam has already produced eight winners and he looks certain to attract support while Adelena looks the type to do better this season.
