Verdict

Sangria was disqualified after finishing first past the post here where his rider weighed in 2lb light but didn't make the expected progress on her next start. Rose Of Malta put a moderate debut behind her when narrowly beaten over 6f here where she ran very green. However, the one to take from that race race is Scipio's Defense, who didn't get the clearest of runs and will have come on a bundle for the experience. INDEPENDENT EXPERT couldn't get close to the odds-on Show Of Stars here last month but was beaten less than three lengths and normal progress can see her off the mark. Hey Kameir was beaten over five lengths into second last week and will need to step up.
