Elusive Lawrence couldn't get past Moonmeister over an extended 1m2f here last month. The winner went on to score over this trip and the form looks strong so SPARANAI, who finished fourth in that latter event and was noted running on when the race was all over, is taken to land this for Jim Bolger with plenty of scope for improvement. Asknotwhat, a very easy maiden winner at Tramore in July, failed to improve on that in two subsequent runs and makes his debut on the surface. Headlong wasn't far behind Moonmeister when the latter gained the first of his victories but has a bit to find. Be Seeing You failed to score for Roger Charlton and was beaten a long way when making his debut for Gordon Elliott in a Grade 3 hurdle at Fairyhouse but stalemate Zanouska is consistent and can't be ignored.
