Verdict

Dylan Hogan is making a name for himself and showed good tactical awareness to make all on HAILSTONE at Limerick. His mount has a 9lb rise to contend with but won with plenty in hand and can defy the extra. Runner-up Dinky Inty was beaten over five lengths but is entitled to get much closer on the revised terms. Melisandre came here to land a maiden over the trip in September though it didn't look the strongest of events but Jon Ess returns to his best trip after finding little at the business end over a mile and makes his handicap debut. Settle For Bay gained a surprise victory on his handicap bow on ground with some give at Leopardstown, when Lady Rosebud was behind, but makes his debut on the surface unlike the latter, though she was behind the selection at Limerick.
