In depth

Verdict

Plenty of track winners in this low-grade handicap including Beleaguerment and Miss Cunning, both successful four times here though three-times course winner Bellick is in better form. The latter was beaten less than a length last week though could have done without a 3lb rise and Siobhan Rutledge can't use her 5lb claim this time. DELTA ROMEO is still a maiden but hasn't been beaten far in his last three starts over the track and trip and was a shade unlucky in-running last week. Jake Coen is one of the more experienced riders here and he can steer Gerard O'Leary's charge to a first success. Malaysian was disqualified from fourth last month but made amends last week when just getting up over a mile though was receiving 16lb and the runner-up was beaten on Wednesday.
