Verdict

LIBERTY TO ROCK kept finding more when holding off dead-heaters Heroine Chic and Lago Indiano by a neck over C&D three weeks ago. The latter is a couple of pounds better off today but Jim Gorman's gelding looks a tough individual and it would be no surprise if he upheld the form en route to landing the first division of this ordinary handicap. Hopes N Dreams is still a maiden but the filly looked ready for a step up in trip when a close fifth to Ashton Rose over 7f here last time and should be thereabouts again. Cool Athlete won over C&D in July and over 7f at Tipperary subsequently. The handicapper has had his say since but David Marnane's gelding is still entitled to respect in this company.
