SLIPPER ORCHID won this a year ago under tonight's rider and though she hasn't won subsequently she's been running well in better company. She's just 1lb higher and can complete the double. Cailin Mor looks a major threat as she's at the top of her game at present and was caught right on the line over a mile at the Curragh a month ago. She was well beaten on her only start on this track but has made marked improvement since. Best Not Argue had been running reasonably well in maidens so it was no surprise when she landed a Galway handicap last month for which a 4lb rise doesn't look excessive. Back On Top has been showing very good pace over further and looks the type to be suited by the track but Sassaway's only victory in 17 starts on the surface was over the minimum trip.
