CEBUANO is virtually the only one of these guaranteed to stay the trip. He's run 32 times in his career but his only two victories have come on this track and though having an inexperienced pilot on board is handed the vote. Cottesloe, who has the advantage of Nina Carberry in the saddle, has a similar strike-rate but has never given any indication that he'll stay this trip, nor has Havelock Ellis, whose last run was over a mile. Habesh hasn't run since 4l behind Cottesloe over 1m4f last January and may just need this while bumper winner Keith's Delight plods around in his own time though Patrick Mullins' booking looks significant. Armed Guard was well beaten when attempting this trip in the past though he arrives in good form having dead-heated over 1m4f last month when That's Ours was behind.
