Snow Patch is steadily improving and, though making her handicap debut with a big weight, this isn't the toughest of nurseries. Piper Bomb has shown up well in his two runs here and should be winning soon off this sort of mark though this can go to AR SAOIRSE. David Marnane's colt didn't show much in maidens on Turf but made a very pleasing debut here when staying on over the minimum in October and Pat Smullen takes over. Highly Approved has only raced on ground with plenty of give and this surface may bring about some improvement.
