DARKOLVA hasn't been beaten far in any of his recent races and, though he has become expensive to follow and looks vulnerable to an improver, there doesn't look much to trouble him here. Trophy Doll showed promise here three weeks ago and will improve, as will Summer's Dream who attracted good support at Gowran but couldn't handle the heavy going. Turnkey was in touch for a long way over a mile here last month so should be suited by the drop back in trip though the main threat could come from Beckoning. Ger Lyons' filly is by Kodiac and the fifth foal of a mare who has produced four winners and this looks her optimum distance.
