Verdict

Hector Berlioz, who is related to six winners, finished first past the post in a barrier trial here last month but NAVAGIO could be the one to beat after two very good runs at the Curragh, though stable companion Tumultuous showed promise in two starts in the spring. Mount Fairweather ran poorly at Roscommon after very much better earlier efforts while Jack Rose did well to get so close over a mile at the Curragh after missing the break. Hernes Hill is a half-brother to four winners and a newcomer to note.
