Verdict

Amarantha is inconsistent but would have a definite chance on her close third at the Curragh in September. Colin Keane was on board when STARLIGHT RED (NAP) was beaten a short-head by Gormanston, who runs earlier, three weeks ago. The grey was conceding 7lb that day and with just a 1lb rise to contend with can go in again. Fryerns went up 5lb for scoring over the track and trip but missed the break next time before staying on while Romann didn't quite get the run of the race last time after a surprise victory a few days earlier.
