Verdict

ENGAGEMENT RING, a full sister to the smart Capri and five other winners, needs a victory for the paddocks and won't get many better chances. Last week's run behind River Rain should just about be good enough. She just holds Marvelosa on that run but Reginalds Tower, runner-up in a Navan bumper, started favourite for a maiden here last month and found 1m2f too short. Banned has joined Joseph O'Brien after leaving Hughie Morrison where he showed a bit of form while Nel should be capable of better after just three runs.
