In depth

Verdict

Indian Scout just failed to land a hat-trick of course wins when beaten a head over 1m4f here in April. He'll go close if fully tuned-up for his reappearance but ALGHANEM may just have the edge today. He should be spot on now after a couple of recent runs following a lay-off and makes more appeal than course regular Saint By Day. The latter can be relied on to run his usual game race but is 6lb higher than September's victory over C&D. Buccaneer Bob went close on his latest visit to this track and Soul Train is worth a second glance in the betting despite having his first start since June last year.
