Verdict

Ask Dad arrives here with a 5lb penalty after a very convincing victory over 6f here on Wednesday. The assessor is certain to take a dim view and a follow-up must be on the cards but ELUSIVE IN PARIS looks the one to be on. Michael Grassick's charge returned to form a week ago when just failing to cope with the in-form The Dancing Lord and surprisingly can run from a 4lb lower mark. Danseur De Feu was a close-up fourth that night and is ready to win again soon and though Shabra Emperor doesn't win often the form of last week's fifth place behind Nedera has been given a boost by subsequent victories of the winner and third Rose Angel. The lightly-raced and progressive Dans Girl may do best of the remainder.
