Locus Standi made a successful reappearance over 1m4f last month but disappointed when tackling this trip a week later. Kevin Manning is back on board and better is expected. Khabaray had been running well before scoring three weeks ago from SETTLE FOR RED where he was always travelling strongly. The runner-up is a massive 11lb better off taking his rider's claim into consideration so should have few problems reversing the form. He can go one better as War Room, who finished fourth, had every chance and looks held but Temasek Star has been running well over slightly further and the drop in trip could help him reach a place.
