Verdict

Narynkol was frustrating for Roger Varian having been beaten three times at short prices on Turf. Denis Hogan will get the best from him and his young rider has been amongst the winners. Wajaaha has been placed four times in six starts on all-weather surfaces including around here but has run poorly over hurdles in recent weeks. Bashful Boy has had three starts on soft going and makes his debut on the surface so could do better but Final Orders appeared to go backwards after a promising start for Simon Crisford. Golden Valour has run well in course and distance handicaps the last twice but THE HALL makes a belated racecourse debut and wouldn't need to be special to make a successful start. A half-brother to five winners including the smart Parish Hall, he can get off the mark at the first time of asking.
