Verdict

MELANNA is rated 76 and has the edge over a couple of these on today's terms. Though well beaten in Listed company last time, James Barrett's filly can get the better of Avizare and Automated back at this level. Eagle Valley finished a bit closer when returned a losing favourite at Naas in September and Adolphius is a likely improver while Aidan O'Brien's Ice Kingdom is a newcomer to note for any significant support in the betting with Seamie Heffernan taking the reins.
