VALIANT FORCE has a penalty for his victory in the Group 2 Norfolk Stakes at Royal Ascot and though beaten in a Group 1 in France subsequently that turned out to be a very hot race. Alabama came home strongly over the track and trip to beat Emerald Banner and probably still has more to offer. He was beaten a neck by Son Of Corballis in a Listed race at Tipperary but will be 3lb better off. Pipsy was always in the front rank when winning convincingly at the Curragh and there's more to come while Chandigah's close third in a Curragh Group 3 in August puts him in the picture.
