Karakhan started off with some fair runs on Turf last spring but didn't make progress and has changed stables. KELLMAR was a 33/1 chance on his debut over 7f in January but belied his odds with a fine run, staying on late when getting the hang of the job. With normal progress he can get the better of the much more experienced Plum Perfect, twice runner-up over the course and distance including when beaten a short-head in a handicap. Super Schemer was unlucky in-running over 7f in January and didn't stay 1m4f next time so has to be on the shortlist.
