Collective Power once again showed good pace here on Wednesday though that was over 7f and this is a big drop in trip. Ambitious wasn't beaten far over 6f here last month but weakened quickly from 1f out when tackling a mile a week ago and wasn't right. Cheval Blanc wasn't suited by testing conditions at Tipperary after a much better run at the Curragh while DIAMONDSINTHESAND was a 50/1 chance at Naas on Sunday. But he belied his odds with a fine run, showing good pace and staying on over that 6f. If he handles the surface, he can gain a belated first success. King's View continues to frustrate and is now 0-36.
