Approbare is obviously well regarded as he's raced in Group 3 company, though he's been well beaten in most of his starts. CORBATA should take this as he made a promising start behind Smuggler's Cove over 7f at Listowel and started favourite at Cork next time. He's found the ground too soft and the trip too far on both outings and this will suit. It's a surprise that Split The Atom hasn't won a small race by now but he may have to wait for a minor-grade nursery while Lake Geneva has been well beaten on both starts though hasn't been suited by the soft ground.
