Geological is 8-65 around here and has been competing at a higher level while Settle For Bay has won half of his eight starts on the track. But the latter was almost five lengths behind when Pulse Of Shanghai completed a 7f hat-trick last time and though the winner is up 9lb and tackling further, he's in such good heart that he should get into the frame again. Orchid Gardens dropped down to a mile to land a maiden last week but has no problems with this trip and now she's off the mark should make a bold bid to complete a quick double. However, REBEL TALE looks the class act of the race and, though he hasn't progressed as expected, his opening run on the surface behind the very smart Saltonstall suggests he has races in him this winter and the assessor has given him a chance.
