Irish Poseidon is an intriguing runner for the in-form Matthew Smith having won three times in Germany including on the all-weather. He could be well handicapped while Special Memento showed his first real sign of ability when staying on strongly here last time and is also expected to go higher in the ratings. Laura Bullion has won around here and is a very smart hurdler who is taking a drop in class but Cliara's best recent form has been over further. BALLYKELLY VENTURE has had just the three starts in maidens, all on this track, the latest when catching the eye back in January. Kevin Manning again takes the ride and a chance is taken that he's made enough progress to take this.
