Backdrop made a bright start behind the useful Exogenesis at Leopardstown then got bogged down in the Galway mud next time. Cultured Lady was unfancied on her debut but stayed on nicely over that 6f and this extra furlong will suit. INTENSE DEBATE makes a quick reappearance after her fine effort behind My Titania in a Group 3 at the Curragh on Sunday and, with improvement virtually guaranteed, this should prove within her capabilities. Trikala has had plenty of chances and hasn't progressed quite as well as expected but there may be more to come from Alafzara, who didn't handle the heavy ground at Listowel last time.
