        Verdict

        VAN ELLIS showed very good pace before fading on his debut over 6f at Newmarket and, though he has further to travel, he will have come on for that run and should have enough stamina to take this. That Boy David was always in the firing line on his debut over a mile here last month so the drop back in trip should work in his favour and he holds Bensoon on that run. Treasure The Ridge takes a huge drop in trip having raced over 1m3f here last time and the Galileo colt isn't certain to be suited so it could be David Wachman's newcomer Flying Doha, a half-brother to the useful sprinter Hitchens, who proves the biggest threat.
